In 1957 Clyde Evans founded Evans Cabinet Corporation in his father’s barn in rural Rentz, GA. Amongst meager beginnings, Mr. Evans’ business was established on the idea of giving his customers the best possible service with the highest quality product for their home or business. Growing his business from Dublin, GA., he eventually found a niche in the public and military housing markets with his longtime friend and head salesman, Milton Knight. With Milton (ML) handling sales and Clyde handling production, the company grew to include two manufacturing facilities of over 50,000 square feet and a fleet of forty trucks delivering nationwide and overseas shipments to locations such as Japan, Guam, and Egypt. Evans continues to grow and has added numerous lines of cabinetry. After over 50 years Evans continues to provide a high quality cabinet with personalized unwavering devotion to service to you our customers.

Evans is proud to have as our President and CEO, Mark A. Trexler. Mr. Trexler was born and raised in Salisbury, NC in 1958. He is married to Julie Bulia Trexler and has two daughters, Ashley and Marianne. With a Bachelors of Science degree from North Carolina State in Industrial Engineering specializing in Furniture Manufacturing & Management and a minor in accounting. Mark takes over the reigns of Evans Cabinet Corporation from highly successful tenures as plant manager of Burlington Industries and Masonite Fiberboard Division, Executive VP and General Manager of Wambold Furniture and most recently as President/CEO of Hayworth Roll & Panel Company. With a true visionary leadership, Mr. Trexler is a perfect fit for ensuring Clyde Evans’ ideal of exemplary customer service and quality workmanship for all our present and future customers.
